1. Documentation is a must!

This is the most important thing to consider, especially if travelling over the borders. Make sure to pack your passport, driver license, insurance and registration card. Your journey might be over much earlier than you think if you lack documentation. They are especially strict about it on the borders.

2. Keep yourself energized!

This relates to food, drink and getting sufficient rest. It is very important to take in enough nutrients, not just to prevent hunger and a lack of energy but also to avoid getting sick. It is much easier to get sick if you are tired. Keep yourself hydrated all the time. All of this doesn’t mean you have to carry giant luggage. Packing some energy bars and a bottle of water will go far. You can stop and buy additional items at local markets. Also remember to get sufficient sleep, especially the day before you hit the road. A long ride can lead to cramps in your hands. In order to avoid wrist fatigue, use a Crampbuster cruise Assist.

3. Safety first!

Do not start your trip without previously having checked the technical part of it! Make sure that your motorcycle works properly and fix any damage to avoid potential accidents on the road. A tool kit is essential for performing a road-side repair in case something goes wrong. No need to mention that your helmet needs to be in good shape.

4. Fuel!

Running out of fuel can ruin it all. Make sure to calculate the amount of fuel you are going to use (there are smartphone apps for that) and inform yourself about gas stations and fuel prices in the place you are visiting.

5. Inform yourself about your destination!

Visiting a completely unknown location is thrilling, but knowing at least some basics might be useful. Check if there are some attractions that you would like to visit. Using a GPS app or a map of the area you are traveling to is a good idea to keep you from getting lost in an area you’re not familiar with. Good Luck!
